Media module

Adding images or video

The main part of all media modules is media content. You can choose from different options to add your media.

Click on + Add media in the media module.

Via File storage

  1. Select the file you want to upload and click on the button Select.
  2. You can upload the new file by clicking on Add and Upload file.

Via URL

Copy any link from an external source.

Via Free stock library

Select images or videos from the Pexels library.

Recording video

Record your own video using your device camera.

User Show mobile overlay to create visual borders to simulate mobile viewport.

Creating AI synthetic video

This feature is available only on paid plans - Camera or Director.

The A.I. avatar is a synthetically generated video using a library of pre-created male or female avatars. Currently, there are more than 40 avatars available in more than 50+ languages.

Creating the video is simple:

  1. Click on the + Add media in the media module and select A.I. Synthetic video
  2. Type or paste the text in the Type your script field.
  3. Select the Gender for your voice (Male or Female).
  4. Select the Voice.
    • There are various accents available for different languages.
  5. Change the Avatar from the library on the right side.
  6. You can as well change the background to a few pre-defined colors, use Pexels stock library, or upload your own.
  7. Test your script with the Listen to audio preview button.

Adding header text

To show the header text above the buttons in the media module, click on Tt or navigate to the upper right corner of the media module and click on context menu buttons (3 vertical dots). Text will always be shown above the buttons. You can format the text or add emojis.

Interaction settings

Interactions are available only with attached media (e.g. image, video,..) to the media module.

Open the settings by clicking on the Interaction settings in the context menu, or click on the quick access button with Bolt icon.

Delay interaction

The setting will allow you to show Text and Buttons with delay. Media will not be delayed.

To access this setting, at least one button must be present in the media module.

  1. Create at least one button in the media module.
  2. Open Interaction settings
  3. Click on the Cog Wheel on any of the buttons.
  4. In the new window, add the delay number in seconds.

Duration time

The setting will allow you to execute the next connected module. The execution will go to the module connected via the bottom connector, not via buttons. To access this setting, the media module must be connected to the next module with bottom connector.

  1. Connect the module to the next module with the bottom connector.
  2. Open Interaction settings
  3. In the bottom of the window, insert duration time in seconds.

Loop video

The setting will allow you to loop the video or gif content.

Hotspots

Hotspots are interactive buttons created above your media attached to the media module.

It allows users to click on pre-selected areas in the video or image. Hotspots function like buttons - they move the user to the next module.

Click on the button context menu and turn it into Hotspot (this works vice-versa).

  1. Adjusts the size by moving the sides of the Hotspot. Move the Hotspot by clicking in the middle.
  2. Adjust other settings by clicking on the Cog Wheel button in the Hotspot setting field.
  3. In the pop-up window adjust the following:
    1. Shape - Change the shape of the hotspot.
    2. Visibility - If the hotspot is visible to the user.
    3. Indicator - If the indicator is visible to the user.

Editing video and image

Hover over the media module to see the preferences:

  • When image is uploaded - Crop button is present
  • When video is uploaded - Trim button is present

Cropping or trimming features are available once the media is uploaded to the media module.

Captions

Follow these instructions to create custom captions or generate captions automatically in a few clicks.

  1. Navigate to the Dialogues editor and select the Media module with the attached video.
  2. Click on the CC icon in the left bottom corner of the media preview.
  3. Select Generate if you want to generate subtitles automatically, or New subtitles to type & sync them manually.
  4. Editing subtitles works as in other subtitle editing software:
    1. Start / End - insert exact time to show / hide subtitles
    2. Subtitles text - insert the subtitle text
  5. Adding more rows - to add rows above or below, use the context menu icon (three dots) on the right side of each subtitle row
